We are a Cognos bank and are trying to find a way to create a report that includes loan average balance data.

On the deposit side, Silverlake gives us the average ledger and collected balances for Prior Qtr 1, 2, 3, and 4. We found a way to calculate the average balance for the current quarter as well.

On the loan side, by using the EOQ file, we were able to come up with an average loan balance for the previous quarter but we haven’t found a way to obtain that data for any other time periods. THE EOM and EOY files do not give us anything useful. At a minimum we would love to be able to have the corresponding data on the loan side to mirror the deposit side (Prior Qtr 2, 3, and 4 as well as current quarter).

Are any other banks having similar challenges and/or have they found a way to obtain this data on their own?
Are their any JHA Know or JHA Analytics banks out there that have been able to get or calculate this data for themselves?
