We are currently having some of our US residents that live abroad have issues with credit reporting. We have added the appropriate country code at the loan ECOA level, but they are still falling out. Since they are a US resident, and have a SSN, the credit reporting agencies have stated we should continue to report. When we ask them why they are rejecting, they told us it is how they are reporting in the Metro 2.

We haven’t been able to find any other coding to add to get these to report, and was wondering if anyone else had this issue come up.

You need more details as to what in the Metro 2 is causing it to be rejected. Years ago at antoher bank I worked we had a large number of rejects at all the CRBs but we were only able to get detailed information to fix it form one of the bureaus. Unfortunately, I don’t recall if it was Experian or Equifax but it was one of them. You should be able to request that from your representative and it will detail which fields or combination of fields is causing the reject.
