Is anyone using only electronic notices through JH’s ESI system? We are looking to start offering electronic notices through ESI and curious to hear feedback on implementation and how the process is going.

      Hi Heather,

We don’t do all notices, but we did have a case opened to start doing the DDA750 (Account Analysis Statements) through ESI. When the customer opts in, we were told all available notices that the bank offers will be available to select for ALL accounts, regardless of if they apply to that customer or account type.

For example, our test profile has about 10 accounts, a mix of personal, business and account analysis. When I enrolled them for notices, normal period statements and Account Analysis Statements were available for all accounts to pick. I can see it being an issue where customers are unsure what to select or are upset that they aren’t receiving statements they’ve enrolled for, because they don’t exist for that account type.

There is no harm if customers enroll for something they won’t get but I feel like it could easily be a confusing or misleading. I’m hoping what we missed a setting or were told some wrong information along the way and that you have better luck than us. For now, we’re just leaving it as is but may try to explore this option again in the future.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions we may be able to assist with.

      Good luck!
