RDA Restrictive Endorsement

Is anyone experiencing a negative impact from the recent RDA Restrictive Endorsement upgrade on 4/26? The upgrade strengthened the Restrictive Endorsement guidelines but also reduced the confidence scores within the system. It caused a number of our mobile deposits to be declined due to the required endorsement being written on two lines. We have now added a process to review mobile deposit items because the majority of our deposits were receiving a 0% confidence score. Looking to see if anyone else had a similar experience.

Hi Heather,

I’m new to WRUG so my response may be a little late. Yes, we have had a negative impact with the RDA endorsement upgrade. Similar to your bank, we are reviewing all mobile dep items which can be cumbersome if there are many to review.

Wondering if other banks are doing the same.
